We’re Hiring: Project Officer (Multiple Locations)
Location: Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Assam
Shrishti Waste Management Services is seeking passionate and skilled individuals to join our team as Project Officers in multiple locations. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals dedicated to making a tangible impact in solid waste management and socio-environmental change.
Role & Responsibilities:
Provide expertise in developing, monitoring, and evaluating frameworks, tools, and indicators for Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) initiatives.
Lead and supervise the project team to ensure precise and timely implementation of the project in the assigned region.
Ensure all targets and deliverables are met to maximize the project's impact within the given timeframe.
Collect and analyze data on campaign reach, engagement, knowledge improvement, and behavior change to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies.
Develop training programs and materials for waste management practitioners, local authorities, and community volunteers in line with IEC strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams, government agencies, NGOs, and stakeholders to align IEC activities with waste management goals.
Coordinate with media, influencers, and communication agencies to enhance campaign reach and visibility.
Plan and conduct workshops, training programs, and community engagement activities with schools, businesses, and organizations.
Monitor and evaluate behavior change campaigns using key performance indicators, such as waste segregation rates and reductions in waste generation.
Qualifications & Desired Skills:
A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Work, Environmental Science, or related fields (proven skills and abilities are equally valued).
A minimum of 3 years of experience in solid waste management.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
Demonstrated passion for addressing socio-environmental issues.
Proficiency in both written and verbal communication in Hindi and English (regional knowledge and work experience in the project locations are preferred).
